How to Play
Helicopter Escape is a one-tap route puzzle. Every helicopter on the board is a long dashed stretch winding across it, with the aircraft drawn at the nose. That nose faces one of four directions — up, down, left, or right — and that is the way the whole thing flies when you tap it.
A helicopter can only take off if the line straight ahead of its nose is clear all the way to the edge of the board. Its own winding body is irrelevant; what counts is whether anything sits in the straight path it is pointing down. Tap one whose path is blocked and it stays grounded, and the wasted tap costs one of your four hearts.
Each helicopter that gets away frees every square its body was occupying, so a single departure can open the board up several moves ahead. Clear them all to finish the level. Boards grow denser and change shape as you climb, and every level after the first runs on a countdown.
Controls
- Send a helicopter out: click or tap it. The whole aircraft flies off in the direction its nose points — you never pilot it.
- Check before you tap: follow the straight line from the nose to the edge of the board. If another helicopter sits anywhere in it, this one cannot leave yet.
- Zoom and pan: use the + / − buttons, pinch to zoom, or drag an empty part of the board to move around a crowded level.
- Settings (gear, top right): sound effects, music, vibration, light/dark theme, restart this level, and reset all progress.
